    Ice Cream Week 2012

    This is the schedule so far.  I think it’s good, but that may be the wine speaking.  Times? Who knows?

    Day 1 - Sunday, June 24

    Milk
    8PM
    The past few years we’ve started Ice Cream Week off at Milk. It’s a good place, so why break with tradition?

    Day 2 - Monday, June 25
    Coolhaus Ice Cream Truck
    TBD
    Since this is one of those roving food trucks, we won’t know until a few days beforehand where it’ll be. I’m hoping that it’ll be at the food truck gathering on Vermont that happens every Monday. If by chance it doesn’t happen at all, we’ll switch it to Pazzo Gelato.

    Day 3- Tuesday, June 26
    Mashti Malone’s
    Amazing Middle Eastern ice cream. And drinks at The Woods afterwards. Duh.

    Day 4 - Wednesday, June 27
    Millions of Milkshakes
    Traditionally the least popular day of Ice Cream Week, so why not marginalize it more by having it at the most Hollywood ice cream parlor in LA? It’s fun though. I’m not selling this well, am I? It’s kinda like the TMZ of ice cream parlors. You’ll see when you get there. Also this is the one most likely to change when I sober up.

    Day 5 - Thursday, June 28
    Carmela
    Voted as the number one ice cream place in Los Angeles by me and Lou. It’s really good guys. If there’s one place to not miss, it’s here. Seriously. 

    Day 6 - Friday, June 29
    Paradis
    Amazing dutch ice cream. And who wants to drive all the way to Pasadena on a Friday night? No one. That’s why it’s within walking distance of me.

    Day 7 - Saturday, June 30
    Scoops West (Early)
    Scoops East (Late)
    I couldn’t decide which to go to. Scoops East is so close yet Scoops West is the superior of the Scoops. And probably something rad will be happening during one of those times where I’ll be kicking myself for missing. But it’s worth it.

    Day 8 - Sunday, July 1
    Fair Oaks Pharmacy
    This place is great. Might as well finish at the most traditional of ice cream parlors.
